The Official Gundam Musou Website has been updated today, showing off Gundam Musou 3. Namco Bandai’s pairing of the Gundam franchise with Tecmo Koei’s Dynasty Warriors series, also known in English as Dynasty Warriors Gundam is coming back for another go on the PlaySation 3 and Xbox 360.

Gundam Musou 3 is now in development over at Omega Force for release this Winter.

Apparently the big change for Gundam Musou 3 is in the visual style.

The game will make use of a cell shaded style for an anime-like look that aims to deliver the type of battle scenes one might expect of the original Gundam properties. A comparison of Gundam Musou 2(top) and 3(bottom) can be seen below:

Gameplay wise you can expect the elements from the past two Gundam Musou games along with new elements and more advanced algorithms. All the units from the first two games will make it in along with Gundam 0083, Gundam X, Gundam OO and Gundam UC.

Are you excited for Gundam Musou 3? ^^ The visual style seems to have changed a little. I played Gundam Musou 2 before and to be honest I hated the visuals to a certain extent. Just doesn’t feel like the anime XD.
