Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Movie Confirmed for September

Takanashi Rikka • Kai ~Gekijō-ban Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai!~ is the film adaptation of the anime series, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!. It will premiere in theaters on September 14. The teaser is also available for viewing now.

The film will be a compilation of the first season seen from the Rikka’s eyes and recontructed with new elements to make it interesting for the audience. The staff had other ideas for the title such as “Daydream of Angel” or “A Love Song to a Fallen Angel.” However, someone in the staff said “Rikka Takanashi’s Revision,” and they settled on that. The last scene of the film will tie into the upcoming second anime season.

Advance ticket buyers will get the chance to have one of the four limited edition swimsuit clear file folders by Kazumi Ikeda (seen below). Advance tickets will start this Saturday and the second batch of advance tickets will commence in late July.
